Good Morning Church Family!
Hey Church Family,
We have many reasons to be thankful! God has blessed our congregation in amazing ways so far this summer.
- Our congregation has witnessed five people identify with Christ through baptism. We still are supposed to have a couple of more people baptized soon.
- We had a team participate in the first Family of Church Student Mission Trip. That mission trip saw eight persons trust Christ as Savior, the Gospel shared over one hundred times, and over three hundred people prayed for.
- We just celebrated the 4th of July with a great party on church grounds that included a covered dish supper, a corn-hole tournament, a jumpy castle for children, sparklers for children, and an impromptu fireworks show that was quite impressive. Many thanks for Dave and Lindsay for helping plan the evening!
Coming up we have Vacation Bible School!!
Don’t forget about VBS training this coming Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. (Pizza will be provided for lunch!!)
Our VBS is from July 20th-24th. Our advanced registration numbers are great! Keep on inviting people, and pray about your involvement to help. Please reach out to Lilian if you would like to help feed about 50 volunteers and their families the week of VBS one evening. On July 27th, we will have VBS Family Fun Day celebration Potluck following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Fred Reyes will be grilling some great meat for us, Please bring some sides and desserts.
On Saturday, August 2nd at 10:00 a.m. we will have a Northwood Baptist Berkeley Beach day!! Meet on Sullivan’s Island Beach at station 28 ½.
Our Student Ministry will be joining the Northwood Family of Churches for Five Knights of Fun at Northwood Baptist Greenridge August 3-7th from 6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. each evening. The students will have incredible games to play each night. Our very own Bryson will help lead in worship and I will be preaching each evening for a few minutes around the theme of the Armor of God.
