Good Morning Church Family!
Dear Northwood Berkeley Saints,
I am thankful for you. I am grateful to God for bringing us together to serve Him! It’s been great seeing so many guests, having people join our congregation, and seeing so many children running around! Ephesians 3:20-21 reminds us,
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
I pray this for the Northwood Family of Churches. I pray that God does far more abundantly beyond all we can ask or think, and because of the work He does in our midst, only He can get the glory and credit for it. I pray that our congregation shows off Jesus Christ everywhere we go.
This Sunday, we will be celebrating another baptism! We continue our series from the Book of Romans. This Sunday’s sermon is entitled “The Wrath of God,” and we will be covering Romans 1:18-32. We will learn why God is mad and how we can avoid God being mad at us. Along the way, we will discover that God doesn’t believe atheists exist, that many social scientists have perpetuated a lie invented 150 years ago about the history of world religions, and that the Lord’s standard for sexuality has not and will not change. Join us for Life Connection Group at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11:00 a.m. Don’t forget, after worship, we have an opportunity to canvas the community with a prayer walk, inviting people to our Fall Festival. The Fall Festival is on November 1. We will have all our Sunday evening activities.
Hey, are you praying for your Oikos? If you know what I’m talking about, keep on praying for your Oikos. If you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about, join us on Sunday to find out.
The service is streamed weekly on Facebook
