Hello Northwood Baptist Berkeley Saints:

I want to thank you for your recognition, gifts, card, and encouraging words that you provided for Pastor Appreciation Month.  It is an honor and delight to serve as your pastor.  I’m truly humbled and excited about what God is doing in our midst.

Last Sunday, it was exciting to see another baptism.  I am praying for good problems at Northwood Berkeley. Having a higher water bill for having to continually fill the baptismal is a good problem to have.  Let’s keep on having that problem. Speaking of good problems. We have a lot more children and toddlers coming to our church these days.  To be blunt we need more nursery workers.  Please pray about your involvement in this valuable ministry. If you are a covenant member and feel led, please reach out to Ed Troyo our Children’s Director.  You will need to be background checked if you don’t already have one on file.  Needing more workers for our children is a good problem to have.  Let’s just make sure we step up and solve this good problem.

Last Sunday after church we took out four teams to pass out fliers in our community to prayer walk and hand out Fall Festival fliers.  Speaking of the Fall Festival remember it is coming up on Saturday, November 1 from 4-8 p.m.  Please take some fliers on Sunday and distribute in your neighborhoods. 

This Sunday, we continue our series from the Book of Romans. This week we will be responding to Romans 2:1-16, “God Righteous Judgement on the Moralist”  Don’t forget that the goal of this series is for you to share the Gospel with at least five people that you are praying for on your Oikos cards.   We will have all Sunday evening activities on Sunday.
