Dear Northwood Berkeley Saints,

 

I want to thank Jim and Dawn Packwood, Ms. Francis (Houida), and Khem and Rizza for sharing during our Missions Sunday.  We were certainly challenged to participate in the Great Commission.  Ladies, you have an opportunity to attend Women on Mission this Saturday.  For all, our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goal is $4000. This entire offering goes to support international missions.  Speaking of missions, this Sunday our congregation will have an Operation Christmas Child Packing Party and Chili Cook-Off at 6:00 p.m.   

 

This Sunday, we continue our series from Romans.  We will be in Romans 3:1-20 and the message is entitled, “YOU are Guilty.”  Don’t forget to pray for your Oikos.  This Sunday our Finance Team will present proposed church spending for 2026.  We will have a chance to affirm this spending on November 30th.

 

Please pray for Alex Valdes, Dave Shepardson, and Kyle Phipps. These three gentlemen are in the process of being ordained to the Gospel ministry.  They meet with their committee on November 22 and we will have an ordination service on Sunday night, November 23^rd at 6:00 p.m.  On that Sunday morning we will affirm their ordination in our morning worship service.
