Dear Northwood Berkeley Saints,

Please read, meditate on, and pray over Ephesians 3:20-21 for our congregation and the Northwood Family of churches.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

This is our theme verse for the year.

It’s been exciting to see Dax and Kevin baptized during the last two weeks. If you have repented of your sin and trusted Christ as Lord and still need to be baptized by immersion, let me know. I would love to discuss that with you. We will gladly have a high-water bill if it means lots of baptisms. We would like to welcome Bill and Debbie, Steve and Haley, and Kevin to our congregation as new covenant members.

Next week is Holy Week. Please prepare yourself spiritually to focus on the sacrifice of Christ and His victorious resurrection. 

• • On Palm Sunday, we have Life Connection Group at 9:30 a.m. And worship at 11:00 a.m. Our message is titled, “How to Make Your Life Count.” The West Virginia Mission Team will gather from 1:00-6:00 p.m. At Greenridge for our Team Bible Study. Lunch will be served starting at 12:45 p.m.
  • We will have Kingdom Kids, Crave, and Bible Study next Wednesday Night from 6:30-7:45 p.m.
  • Next Thursday evening, we will have our Maundy Thursday Service at 6:30 p.m. We will observe the Lord’s Supper at this service.
  • Please invite your friends to our Easter Worship service at 11:00 a.m. If you are in good shape, please park near the grass where we had the bonfire to save spaces for guests and the elderly. Let’s pray for a full house. We WILL have Life Connection Groups that morning on Easter.
