Marie grew up in the upstate of South Carolina.  She married her high school sweetheart, Ifford Taylor, in 1989.  They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.  She joined the church in 2017 and became the ministry assistant in 2018.  In 2022 Marie served on the South Carolina Ministry Assistant Association leadership team as secretary.  She has been on mission trips to Kentucky and leads the nursery.  She adored her big sister Darlene and being influenced by her relationship with God, Marie accepted Jesus as her savior at the young age of 7.   Coincidentally, her big sister also serves her local church as the ministry assistant.  She loves to help and is always striving to become like Christ every day.
