Good Morning Church Family!
Hey Church Family,
Galatians 6:2 reminds us,
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Acts 2:42 gives some insight from the early church,
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
At the time of this writing, we have several church members battling health issues and we also have some church members that are looking for employment or to improve their employment situation. One of the things I have always appreciated about our congregation is the way we love, support, and pray for one another. Let’s be mindful to continue to labor in prayer and encourage others.
This Sunday, we continue our Exodus series. Our Sunday sermon is entitled, “Yahweh Strikes!” Speaking of Sunday, do you know we have launched a brand-new Young Adult Life Connection Group? No matter your age we would love to see you at Life Connection Group at 9:30 a.m. This Sunday night we will have a full slate of activities for the whole family. Kingdom Kids, Crave, and discipleship groups all meet at 6:00 p.m. Last Sunday night Alex and Maddie led our youth in a Western Night that featured Italian Pizza. Everyone likes pizza! Even Cowboys.
We have several upcoming opportunities to be aware of.
- Women’s Ministry Kickoff, this Saturday, February 22 at 3:00 p.m. in the white chapel Gethsemane building.
- Wildcat Senior Living Center Ministry, Wednesday, February 26 at 1:15 p.m. (Please contact Pastor Jim if you want to participate)
- Dave and Lindsay will host a home bible study March 7 @ 6:00 p.m. Singing, food, fellowship, and a study in Philippians. The goal will be for this Bible Study to meet on the first and third Fridays of every month.
