Good Morning Church Family!
Northwood Baptist Berkeley Church Family,
Titus 3:14 tell us,
Let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.
Our congregation is actively engaging our world through various ministry opportunities.
- We continue to bring a team to Wildcat Senior Living Center for a time of Bible study and worship.
- We will have a booth at an upcoming Cane Bay community event. We will have games for children. Please bring candy between now and April 5. There is a bin in the lobby.
- Our Student Minister, Alex Valdes in conjunction with Marie Taylor is collecting food and fixins to help feed families that have fallen on hard times. For privacy reasons Berkeley County School District social workers will distribute the meals to the families. We, however, as a congregation will provide these meals. Please bring frozen turkeys, ham, green beans, baked beans, rolls, and brownie mix. The meals will be organized by April 10. PLEASE BRING NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, APRIL 6. If you absolutely can’t bring one of the next two Sundays, please drop off meal supplies with Lillian Reyes on Tuesday or Thursday.
- Ms. Annette Bowers has ordered some door hangers with church information. These door hangers can be used on upcoming prayer walks.
- The men of our church are meeting this coming Saturday, April 29 at 9:00 a.m. to cut down some trees and do some work around the church.
Whew!! That’s a lot going on! Keep on serving the Lord by engaging your world.
Grace to you,
Pastor Jay
