Happy Friday NBC Berkeley Family,

Psalm 100 reminds us to give thanks to our great God! 

 A Psalm for giving thanks.

1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
²     Serve the Lord with gladness!
    Come into his presence with singing!

³ Know that the Lord, he is God!
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

⁴ Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
    Give thanks to him; bless his name!

⁵ For the Lord is good;
    his steadfast love endures forever,
    and his faithfulness to all generations.

 This Sunday, we as a congregation will gather to worship God together and express thanks to Him!  This week’s message is from 1 Corinthians 9:1-27, “What are You Willing to do to Advance the Gospel?”   Following our 11:00 a.m. worship service we will have another Connect to Northwood Berkeley class.  Register on our website.  Lunch is provided. 

This Sunday also is when we set our clocks back an hour. We get an extra hour of sleep!  With that extra hour, everyone should be able to make it in time for Life Connection Groups at 9:30 a.m.  😊

Don’t forget our Fall Festival is from 3-5 p.m. this Saturday, November 2.  You can still sign-up to help on our website.  Invite your friends. We need everybody present to help and show the community we care about them.

 This coming Tuesday, November 5 is election day.  Make sure you vote.  On Tuesday Night we will have a special Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting at 6:00 p.m.  Bring the whole family.  Let’s pray for our Nation.
