Good Morning Church Family!
Merry Christmas Church Family!
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. “ -Luke 2:10-11
I hope to see everyone tonight at the Christmas Eve service tonight at 5:00 p.m. Please bring the entire family. Please invite friends and neighbors.
This coming Sunday, (Lord willing), I will be preaching from Acts 2:41-47. We be casting vision for Northwood Baptist Berkeley in 2025 and beyond. This Sunday we will have an opportunity to affirm our 2025 Budget. If you have any questions about the budget between now and Sunday, please direct those to me or to the members of our Finance Committee…Grant, Gloria, Oneal, and Dana. This past Sunday, Randi Hartman on behalf of our Personal Committee recommended we call Alex Valdez to be our Youth and Young Adult Minister. Alex shared his testimony on Sunday and helped serve as an evaluator for Mission Lab later that evening. We look forward to having Alex and his Maddie join us. We will have a chance to affirm that call on January 5.
Our Winter Preaching Lab New Testament Postcard series continues this coming Sunday, December 29th at 6:00 p.m. James Peebles will share a message from 3 John. Since we are celebrating college football Bowl season in our society let’s bring our favorite sports watching food this Sunday night for our Fellowship Time after preaching lab. It was super seeing all the children in the building last Sunday night. Josh Pelletier will preach from 2 John on January 5th. We appreciate Dave Shepherdson and the challenging message he preached from Jude this past Sunday evening.
On January 5 we will be launching a Life Connection Group for our Young Adults. Y’all have a Merry Christmas Eve!!We
