Good Morning Church Family!
Dear NBCB Saints,
Call me old fashioned but I believe that a New Testament church should consist of people that pray often. Let us remember to pray daily for our theme passage for the year.
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. -Ephesians 3:20-21
May God glorify Himself by doing something in our congregation and the Northwood Family of Churches that is far more abundantly beyond all we could think or imagine.
Please continue to pray for the church pastors as we think through discipleship strategy moving forward.
Please pray for Pastor Khem as he preaches at the Drucilla Baptist Church in North Carolina this Sunday. He will be preaching from 1 John 5 for both the morning and evening services.
In a couple of weeks Pastor Dave will be preaching at the Naval Weapons Station Base Chapel. His message is coming from James 2 as I recall.
Next week, Pastor Kyle will preach at Northwood Berkeley from Romans 9. It is great to be able to have men in our congregation that can go out and preach the Word. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to speak mightily through all these gentlemen.
Do not forget to give to the Lottie Moon International Mission Offering. Speaking of missions our Women on Mission Group meets this Saturday at 11:00 am. Ladies please show up and learn about and pray for missions.
Our midweek ministries continue to thrive. Join us for Kingdom Kids, Crave Students Ministry, or Pastor’s Bible Study and Prayer time from 6:30-7:45 p.m.
This Sunday we will be looking at a great passage from Romans 8:18-39. We will discover that God’s glory is greater than our very real groaning. Invite a friend to join you for worship. I know it is supposed to be cold and rainy on Sunday morning but last I checked it will be above freezing. So put on a coat, bring an umbrella, and join us to worship our great God.
The service is streamed weekly on Facebook
