Good Morning Church Family!
Hello Church Family,
Psalm 145:3 declares,
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
We serve an incredible God that is both good and great!!!
On Sunday, we will be celebrating the New Testament ordinance of Baptism. In the New Testament, after people accepted Jesus as Savior, they were baptized by immersion. Baptism is a way for you to publicly identify with Jesus. Baptism also serves as a picture of your salvation. Because Christ died and rose you have now died to your old life and have been raised to a new life. Quite frankly, baptism is a matter of obedience to Jesus. Part of the Great Commission is baptizing people in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
This Sunday I will be preaching on the Tabernacle from Exodus 25-31. That’s a lot of material to go over and we will only be able to summarize the content. The more I study the passage the more excited I get to be able to share the significance of what the Tabernacle teaches us. In preparation for worship, I encourage you to read Exodus 25-31 on your own before Sunday.
Immediately following the 11:00 a.m. worship service this Sunday, Ed will be having a short informational VBS workers meeting. Please plan on being there.
On Friday, May 23, our church has a chance to bless the Wildcat Senior Living Center by conducting bible study and worship there. Please join the team at 1:00 p.m.
On Sunday, May 25 we will join the Northwood Family of Church at a joint prayer service at Northwood Baptist @Wando Woods at 5:00 p.m.
This coming Sunday we will have all Sunday evening activities. That includes the Crave Student Ministry, Kingdom Kids, and adult discipleship.
Please continue to pray for the Crofts and for Mr. Ifford’s knee replacement recovery.
🎓 Congratulations to Alex and Maddie Valdes for their graduation from Charleston Southern.
The service is streamed weekly on Facebook
