Good Afternoon Church Family!
Hey Northwood Baptist Berkeley Church Family,
Whew!! Have you been able to catch your breath yet? Vacation Bible School was amazing last week!! Thank you to Ed, Bethany, and the entire team who ministered last week. We had the best meals ever for VBS workers. The decorations were incredible. So many people put in such hard work. Best of all, the children praised God, heard the Gospel, and learned other biblical principles. One young person was saved! Last Sunday’s Family Fun Day was a blast. Thank you to Fred for cooking our meat! It was hot, but the kids still managed to jump in the jump castle.
Let’s look ahead to this Sunday. Join us for Life Connection Group on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. We have a class for every age group. Our 11:00 a.m. worship service will feature both New Testament ordinances. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper and witness another baptism. Praise God that will be our eighth baptism this summer! This Sunday, we will take a one-week break from our 1 John series and talk about spiritual warfare from Ephesians 6:10-20.
We will not have normal Sunday evening activities this Sunday, April 3, and Sunday night, August 10. This Sunday, I will be preaching at Five Nights of Fun at Northwood Greenridge, and Alex and several of our students will be attending this event. On Sunday evening, August 10, please join us at Northwood Baptist East Bay for an evening of prayer for our new church plant. We will gather and pray for this new work, the existing Northwood Family churches, and other needs as well. It will still be daylight, and parking is available. Please make every effort to come. We will resume normal Sunday evening activities on August 17th.
The service is streamed weekly on Facebook
