Dear Northwood Baptist Berkeley Church Family,

 

1 John 5:13 tells us, 

This Sunday, we will gather for Life Connection Groups at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11:00 a.m.  I will be preaching a message this Sunday called, “Overcoming Faith” from 1 John 5:1-13.  We will examine four truths about a faith that overcomes. This passage will serve as a comfort for believers in Christ and will clearly explain the Gospel to the unsaved.  Keep on inviting your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.  We have had a lot of guests lately.  Let’s keep on reaching out to others.

 

Don’t forget on September 7 we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper, on September 14, we will have a connect to Northwood Berkeley class, and on September 21, we will have a Covenant Sunday where church members will be able to renew their membership and affirm our doctrine and commitments.  If you are a regular attender but have never officially joined Northwood Berkeley, I strongly encourage you to sign-up for Connect to Northwood Berkeley and prayerfully consider your church membership. Speaking of prayer, don’t forget to pray for your involvement in ministry roles. You will be hearing more about ministry teams in the days ahead.
