Good Morning Church Family!
Dear Northwood Berkeley Saints,
I missed being with the congregation this past weekend. Linda and I were able to get away for a long weekend in the Wilmington area. Your generous gift for Pastoral Appreciation made this weekend of refreshment possible. I am thankful to Dr. Billy Harwood for preaching in my absence. Billy is a gifted preacher.
This weekend is Missions Weekend in the Northwood Family of Churches. Northwood Baptist Greenridge is hosting the Global Missions Conference this year. Please sign up at the following link. Global Missions Conference 2026
Here is the schedule for the Northwood Family of Churches Missions Conference.
Join us for our Global Missions Conference as we hear from several of our mission partners and guest speaker. Together we’ll celebrate what God is doing around the world, how He worked in our trips this past year, and discover how we can each take part in His mission to the nations.
Schedule:
- Friday, 630-8:30 – Welcome Dinner ($10/person) (doors open at 6:00)
- Saturday, 9:00AM-12:15PM – Global conversations and breakout sessions with our partners
The Northwood Family of Churches is offering several mission trips in the coming year. This weekend will be a great way to find out about those options. Please note there is a cost to attend on Friday Night. On Sunday, I will be preaching from Psalm 67 which is known as the “Great Missionary Psalm.”
Speaking of outreach and reaching the world with the Gospel don’t forget about two upcoming events that will take place at Northwood Berkeley in the coming month. On November 14 we have the Fall Festival from 3-5 p.m. On November 15, we will have an Operation Christmas Child Packing Party.
Keep on inviting friends, family, and co-workers. We keep on seeing guests come in the door just about every week. Even if you are scared to get into a theological conversation at this stage you can at least invite people to church and tell them “To come and see.”
The service is streamed weekly on Facebook
